A Mystery Worth Exploring
Whether you believe it or not, the legend of the Hollow Earth opens up our minds to the possibilities of a new land of discovery. In the last fifty years, a mystery has been surrounding Admiral Richard Evelyn Byrd's alleged flight over the North Pole in 1947. While it is impossible to verify this flight with available information, the legend that Byrd took this mysterious flight and made discoveries of new land inside the earth has remained strong and growing. This mystery could be considered folklore, desire on the parts of foolish people, or astounding fact to thousands of believers who have followed this theory and the trail of Admiral Byrd's flight.

During February of 1947, Byrd, supposedly, took a flight over the North Pole, in which he saw land, blue sky and met with beings who live in an inner realm. This inner realm is consistent with much Norse, Eskimo, Tibetan, Egyptian and South American folklore. The flight may or may not be true, but the strength of the legend and story is truly remarkable. Remarkable enough to investigate!

A Research Team Is Being Formed
Fifteen years ago, retired Air Force Sergeant, Danny L. Weiss, found himself living in Iceland and immersed in their Norse mythology. This is not an adventure he consciously sought out. Weiss kept hearing of the Hollow Earth, Ultima Thule, Richard Wagners, The Gods Entry into Valhalla, and beings from the inner realm. This trail led him to Sweden, to Iceland (again and again), to encounters with UFO's, to conversations with former Nazi officers and, even, to correspondence with Byrd's immediate family. All this is a search for the truth. Weiss is not interested in charlatans!

A few years ago, Weiss formally assembled a research team that will, in association with his friends in Iceland, attempt to re-trace Byrd's flight from Spitzbergen to the North Pole. People from all walks of life are involved - pilots, teachers, folklorists, reporters and even diehard believers. The journey is a go, and its departure date and details are shared exclusively with members of his society. This idea has been discussed by many people, including research teams around the world, but Weiss' group is the first scientific, research team to re-trace Byrd's flight with an agenda that is thoughtful and realistic.

Weiss' team is made up of a group of truth seekers; you haven't seen them on the lecture circuit making all kinds of wild claims. Neither is Weiss working on the fringe. He is working to conclude the mysterious journey he began 15 years ago. The skies over the North Pole are opening up with the changing political and world climate and OPERATION POLARIS wants to take advantage of this fact.

Life is a strange and wonderful thing. Would you like to be part of this scientific, yet mystical journey?
